One Year with WordPress

It looks like I’ve been running WordPress for this personal blog and related sites for just over a year. Overall, it’s a good system. Every CMS has its own purpose and role (even Sharepoint) and WordPress seems to have taken the lead for ease-of-use.

I am still learning several aspects of the system, especially the new Gutenberg editor and related tools. I’ve got a project to convert another site over to WordPress for stability reasons and can’t wait to get it done!

So, new look for the new year, and hopefully more content. I’ve also moved on to Amazon AWS for hosting and had to learn a bit about that environment.

Since I’m using a retro-computing looking theme for a bit, I guess it’s an excuse to post some pics that look like they’re more from MacPaint.
